I have been blessed the past few years having shown in London, been featured in Artfields South Carolina twice, and recently have launched clothing, accessories and home decor collections with SHOPVIDA.com. Throw in some EP (album) covers for several musicians, some assemblage art project, jurying into a local Best of the Best Art show and you have a glimpse into my life, a very happy Artist making my way through the world one day at a time. Not trying to humble brag but I feel my childhood teachers, the Domincan Nuns, would be pleased with my progress.
It has been a whirlwind the past month and I am now settling back to reality and home for the Holidays. I was so fortunate to show in London in October at the Grid Art Fair. I met amazing Artists from all over the world. I stayed 11 days and visited most of the Art in the Brick Lane area and managed to see the work of Louise Bourgeois and Georgia O'Keefe at The Tate Modern, spent time in Chinatown, danced Salsa in Soho, photo-safaried in Camden, wandered and took photos in much of the area around Westminster! The trip was ridiculously good and I shared with an Art loving, share the same kind of interest kinda girl, aka known as my Bestie, Stacey. Love the City and the People so much and couldn't have asked for a better travel mate!
Got back safe and sound and headed off to Art Takes Miami, an annual event for the Girls and I. Stayed on Collins Avenue at The Loews which is our crash site for the weekend! Marveled at the Art at SCOPE on Ocean Drive and at Aqua, an all time favorite. The work this year was spectacular and fresh as always. Eye candy of the very best sort!
Home for the Holidays and back to creative mode as I am inspired by the talent of so many Artists in this world of ours! The never tiring Artists of the world, who make us feel something, see something in a different way, well that really is one of very most valuable resources, no?
Till next time...Make Good Art
